Day Hike Mt. LeConte
Clingman's Dome is the Park's highest peak, but Mt. LeConte is widely considered the tallest mountain with a 5,000' base to summit elevation change on the north face. While there are many possible routes, going up Alum Cave Bluff Trail and down Rainbow Falls allows you to experience the different aspects of this special place. Plan ahead and book a reservation with the infamous LeConte Lodge to stay overnight. They're all booked up? Make it a day hike and use the Smokies best shuttle service, A Walk In The Woods.
